Dr. Lamb received the Christian Brother full academic scholarship and attended LaSalle University in Philadelphia. In 1990, he was graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry. Dr. Lamb then received a doctorate of medicine degree of Jefferson Medical College in 1994. He was graduated cum laude and was honored with membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Following a general surgery internship at Pennsylvania Hospital, Dr. Lamb undertook an orthopaedic surgery residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Thomas Jefferson University Hospital’s affiliation with The Rothman Institute, A.I. Dupont Children’s Hospital, Cooper Hospital Trauma Center, as well as local professional and collegiate sports teams, provided him with an extensive background in all aspects of orthopaedic surgery. While a resident, Dr. Lamb served as a clinical instructor, chief resident, and editor-in-chief of The Orthopaedic Journal. After residency, he entered a hand and upper extremity surgery fellowship with The Philadelphia Hand Center. During his company, Dr. Lamb assisted in caring for patients with congenital, arthritic, and traumatic injuries of the hand and arm. As a fellow, he gained valuable experience in the arthroscopic and microsurgical management of sports and work-related injuries of the upper extremity.
Dr. Lamb has authored several scientific articles and has presented at numerous local, regional, and national orthopaedic conferences. Currently, he is a member of the Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Eastern Orthopaedic Society, the New Jersey Orthopaedic Society, the Jefferson Orthopaedic Society, and the Jefferson Hand Club. Dr. Lamb is an associate staff member of the Princeton Medical Center and serves as an orthopaedic consultant to the Lawrenceville School.
