Dr. David Lamb appointed Chief of Othopaedics at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro

Dr. David Lamb has been appointed Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. Dr. Lamb took over from another POA physician, Dr. Gutowski who had been Chief since 2001.

Dr. Lamb has been an attending physician specializing in Spine Surgery at Princeton since 1997.

Dr. Lamb received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in 1991. His post graduate medical education includes a surgical internship at Pennsylvania Hospital from July 1991 through June 1992, his orthopaedic residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital from July 1992 through June 1996, and a spinal fellowship program at Emory University School of Medicine from August 1996 through July of 1997.

Dr. Lamb frequently receives additional education and training on the latest advancements in spinal techniques, which allow his patients to have shorter hospital stays and easier recoveries. He is skilled in performing minimally invasive procedures, artificial disc replacement, kyphoplasty and in the use of interspinous devices.

Dr. Lamb is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
