John Turner, DO, a native of Lawrence, New Jersey, is a Board-Certified Family & Sports Medicine Physician with expertise in ultrasound-guided injections, sports-related concussions and nonoperative care. Dr. Turner sees patients in our Princeton and Hillsborough offices.

Dr. Turner graduated from The College of New Jersey with a degree in Biopsychology and played on the Men’s Varsity Soccer Team. He earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine before completing his family medicine residency at Christiana Care Health System, where he was elected Chief Resident.

Following residency, Dr. Turner then completed a sports medicine fellowship at Crozer/Penn Chester County Hospital. During his additional year of training, he was a team physician for the MLS Philadelphia Union, MLS NextPro Philadelphia Union II, University of Delaware, Widener University and several local high schools. He has also spent time triaging alpine injuries in skiers at both the Alta Medical Clinic and Park City Mountain Medical Clinic in Utah.
