“I’m beyond thrilled with the outcome of my procedure by Dr. Song. Prior to my surgery, I couldn’t lift my arm above my chest – now I am back to golf and can easily lift my arm above my head. Dr. Song was upbeat and optimistic. My recovery went better than I expected – in 6 to 8 weeks I was sleeping comfortably and I’m better than I could’ve ever imagined. My only regret is that I didn’t do it a year earlier!”
“I went to see Dr. Song because of his excellent reputation. He was highly recommended by my trainer and other physicians. I was really impressed with his manner. He took the time and thoroughly explained what was wrong and exactly what he could do for me and then gave me the space to think about it and come to my own decision. My down-time after the procedure went in-line with what he said it would be and I was well prepared coming into the surgery. I followed his instructions exactly. On my follow up visit he again took the time to explain exactly what he had done and answered all of my questions. I am very happy to be back to Pilates and weight-bearing exercises!”
“Dr. Abrams really is the gold standard for orthopedics – he has a great bedside manner and he is an excellent technician. He has been my orthopedist for over 20 years and I have recommended him to family and friends. I have trusted him over the years to make the best decisions for my orthopedic care. He has always been realistic in his explanations as to what to expect and, actually, I have always managed to heal much faster/better than anticipated. If I were to rate him I would give him an A+!”
Dr Gecha is the very best.
I am a 19 year old varsity college swimmer who slipped leaving the pool, fell down a flight of stairs and severely hurt my knee. After over 9 months of physical therapy, two MRI’s and having seen two orthopaedic sport medicine doctors I was still constantly in severe pain they all said there was nothing wrong with my knee and it was all in my head. I finally went to see Dr. Gecha. He took a very long time examining me and reviewing all of my records including the two MRI scans both showing nothing of concern. He was very understanding and really understood what was going on with my knee. He also understood the stress of being a collegiate athlete and the pressure put on by coaches pressing for me to get back to competing. Together we put into place a plan which includes very special physical therapy by one of the great therapists at Princeton Orthopaedic, Sue. That prepared me for the surgery by Dr. Gecha on Tuesday August 12. On Sunday August 17 I drove back to school. Within a week I was feeling better and within two weeks I was completely pain free. I am still doing extremely well and hope to return to competitive swimming shortly after Thanksgiving.
I could not have done this without the knowledge and excellent care given by Dr. Gecha and his knowledgeable and caring staff. Thank you all.
Professionalism with a personal touch – this is the most direct way I would summarize my experience with Dr. Gecha and team. From the initial visit to the prognosis and discussing my treatment and surgical options, Dr. Gecha clearly articulated the full scope of my surgery and the recovery. The surgery itself went incredibly smooth and effortless. I can also report that my knee feels like it did when I was 20 years younger. I can honestly say that the experience with Dr. Gecha and the full POA team is by far the most rewarding medical process I have ever encountered. I would recommend POA to everyone!
I consider it my good fortune to have become a patient of Dr. Pressman since 2007 when he replaced my first hip. Since then, he has replaced my other hip and two shoulders with excellent results. I have obviously found him to be very skillful in addition to being a very kind and compassionate man. He takes the time to listen and explain. I don’t think there is any higher praise than referring your family and friends to a doctor. They have all felt the same way. He is such an asset to your group. I would be remiss if I did not commend Nancy, his surgical scheduler. Her efficiency and thoroughness cannot be compared. She too is a huge asset to your group. She is the best. As you can see, if I had more joints to replace – you know who would do it!
My wife and I call Dr. Gutowski “THE MIRACLE MAN”. The doctor’s bedside manner was really impressive. All my questions before the operations were answered. Although the procedure and rehab came with a good amount of pain, I never thought about not having the second surgery. Dr. Gutowski and his staff prepared me for the operation. I thank Dr. Gutowski for answering all my questions and easing my fears about the operation, but MOST OF ALL, I thank him for making it possible for me to walk without pain or a limp.
I suffered for years with pain until I could hardly walk. Rehab after my first knee replacement (left knee) was a little more difficult because my right knee was bad and I had difficulty standing on it. After my 2nd operation (right knee) the rehab was easier because my left knee was new, so it as much easier to stand with it. I sometimes forget how bad the pain was because my knees are like new! The last 2 years before my operations I was taking at least 800 mg of ibuprofen daily, sometimes as much as 3200 mg. Your man is a Genius. God Bless Him.
I was suffering from chronic knee pain for several years. During my recent vacation to Florida, the pain was so severe that I was in a wheelchair for the entire vacation. That was it. I decided for knee surgery for relief. I always thought that recovery was a very long and painful process.
I went to see Dr. Vannozzi. He suggested total knee replacement for my left knee. He told me that I would be able to go back to work within six to eight weeks. He assured me that I would be able to walk like a normal person again. I agreed to go ahead and he performed the surgery.
A few hours after the surgery, the physical therapist made me walk. Such a good experience! I had physical therapy for a few weeks and went back to work after exactly 8 weeks. Dr. Vannozzi gave me my life back. His bedside manner amazed me. Most importantly, he is efficient and personable.
I am so thankful to him.
Dr. Brian Vannozzi is a great surgeon – great bedside manner – very personable. I have had right and left total knee replacements and I am now playing golf 5 weeks after surgery thanks to Dr. V.
