Meet Dr. Shenoy

Dr. Kartik Shenoy is a board-certified orthopaedic spine surgeon who treats all conditions of the spine. Prior to joining Princeton Orthopaedic Associates, Dr. Shenoy served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force. He was the Chief of Spine Surgery and Orthopaedic Medical Director at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada and deployed to the Middle East during his service. He performs all spine procedures including disc replacement, minimally invasive surgery, laminectomy, microdiscectomy, and cervical and lumbar fusions. He has a particular interest in cervical and endoscopic spine surgery.

Dr. Shenoy completed his orthopaedic spine surgery fellowship at the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute in Philadelphia where he trained under internationally recognized leaders in spine surgery, Drs. Alex Vaccaro and Alan Hilibrand. Prior to this, he completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at NYU Hospital for Joint Disease/Langone Orthopedic Hospital in New York City. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University.

An accomplished academic surgeon, Dr. Shenoy has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and presentations focusing on spinal disorders, surgical techniques, and outcomes research. His work has been published in leading journals such as The Spine Journal, Clinical Spine Surgery, and World Neurosurgery. In addition to his research contributions, he serves as Deputy Editor of Surgical Techniques for the Clinical Spine Surgery journal and is a board member of the Clinical Orthopaedic Society. Born and raised in Long Island, New York, Dr. Shenoy enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, and playing golf.
