This is my second experience with Dr. Song and, like the first one, amazing results. He and his staff, especially Ashley Reckdenwald, PA, was great, to say the least! When I came to Dr. Song about my left shoulder (he already did my right one), I already went to a "well-known" doctor closer to me in Neptune. He did some x-rays and basically diagnosed me with having bursitis and to put an ointment on daily and "live with it"! Because of my age, there was nothing to be done, he said! I tried that but the pain was keeping me up at night, so I decided to get a second opinion from Dr. Song. He tested me and said that I was in great shape and had a lot of strength there but it seemed odd to him that I have the problem I had, so he advised me to get an MRI to be on the safe side. Upon his findings, he concluded that I had a severe tear in my rotator cuff and that I needed surgery ASAP! This was actually a bit of a shock to both of us because the pain was not the same as my right shoulder. I had the surgery and went to PT and now I am completely free of pain in BOTH of my shoulders and can even swim in the local pool without any problems whatsoever!!!
